Global aircraft charter specialist Chapman Freeborn provides evacuation flights as conflict in Iraq escalates

Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has been on hand to provide several evacuation flights out of Iraq as global corporations evacuate their staff amidst increasing instability in the country.

Individuals were successfully evacuated from Bagdad to the UAE by means of three chartered B737-400 flights and several executive aircraft movements.

Within minutes of making Chapman Freeborn's US office aware of their requirements, the client had access to the aircraft charter specialist's team in Dubai, who were immediately actioned to provide the optimum staff repatriation solution.

The successful operation highlighted the importance of Chapman Freeborn's global office network, with on-ground, local expertise accessible in-region immediately.

In conjunction with Chapman Freeborn's US office in Fort Lauderdale, the Dubai team worked in unison to ensure the operation went smoothly, overcoming several operational hurdles in an unstable environment and working tirelessly until the passengers were safely evacuated.

Close working relationships with operators and airport authorities worldwide were optimized as staff on ground in Baghdad International Airport supported with landing permits, immigration, operational support and passenger supervision. The Chapman Freeborn ground operations team in Dubai also supported the movement by acquiring onward connecting commercial tickets from Dubai to each passenger's home town.
