MENA and Attar Holding to provide maintenance at Jeddah International Airport

MENA Aerospace Enterprises, WLL (MENA) and Attar Holding Co. Ltd (Attar) are pleased to announce that they have concluded an agreement to join forces in order to provide line maintenance services to aircraft operators at Jeddah International Airport in Saudi Arabia. The new service provider will be called “MENA Technical Services.”

Attar already provides ground support and equipment at Jeddah Airport from its bespoke, dedicated facility at the airport. The agreement with MENA will allow Attar and MENA to expand the services available to airlines, business jet operators and private aviation at Jeddah International.

Ralph Eisenschmid, MENA Aerospace's executive director said, “We are very excited to be joining forces with such a strong partner in Jeddah. We see this as an excellent opportunity to enhance the services available at Jeddah International in partnership with Attar, an established player at the airport and in the Saudi Arabian transport and travel industry. We see this as another step in expanding the MENA brand in the region.”

Attar Holding Co. Ltd is the holding company consisting of the following subsidiaries: Electronic Travel Gate Company Ltd. which is a B2B online system for hotel & travel bookings with expansion into Dubai and various of GCC markets underway, Amjad Company Ltd. for contracting & real estate and Aerologic Saudi Arabia Ltd. which holds a Saudi Arabian GACA AMO 145 certificate for Line maintenance at its Jeddah International Airport facility.

The groups' principal company, Attar Travel, was established in 1982 and is currently ranked number three amongst all travel agencies in Saudi Arabia. Attar was one of the pioneers in airport ground handling, providing such services for more than 50 years. Now, Attar is part of Saudi Ground Services (SGS), which is the exclusive Ground Handling agent in Saudi Arabia.
