German market leader further expands fleet of helicopters and medium and short haul jets

July 20, 2013:

During the first half of the year, DC Aviation, Germany's leading operator of business jets, expanded its fleet by five additional medium-haul and long-haul business jets. With a Gulfstream G550, a Dassault Falcon 900, and a Dassault 7X, DC Aviation continues to build up its market position.

Michael Kuhn, DC Aviation's managing director, commented: “This fleet expansion and the resulting additional capacities put us in a position to respond on a top-notch level to the growing charter demand in this segment. At the same time we are, of course, very happy about the trust our clients have in us with regard to aircraft management.”

DC Aviation now has a total of seventeen long-haul jets and twelve medium-haul or short-haul jets. Its specialization in medium-haul and long-haul aircraft continues to shape up.

After acquiring the Swiss provider Jet-Link and its daughter Heli-Link, both headquartered in Zurich, bets are on continuous fleet growth here too. With the acquisition of a Eurocopter EC155B1 with luxurious vip equipment for up to eight passengers, the company is now in a position to meet current market expectations with maximal flexibility in this market segment as well.

For this high-end helicopter, interested charter customers can look forward to minimal vibration (comparable to a jet), a top speed of 324 km/h, and a maximal range of 784 km.
