The Challenger 604 will be managed on behalf of a Swiss company for worldwide charter.

MHS Aviation adds Challenger 604 to fleet

August 8, 2012:

MHS Aviation has expanded its fleet with the addition of a Challenger 604. This brings the current number of aircraft that MHS Aviation operates to 13 aircraft in total. The Challenger 604 will commence operations from August 2012 as part of MHS Aviation's portfolio of aircraft for worldwide charter.

The aircraft is managed on behalf of a Swiss company that was seeking an experienced Bombardier operator in Germany which offers a very personal and individual service. MHS Aviation proved to be the perfect solution. The combination of their experience of operating a series of Learjets and the seamless way that the 604 fits into the fleet profile enables the company to offer an extensive number of passenger and range capacities.

"By expanding our fleet to the large cabin sector we are able to offer long range and transatlantic flights." said Steffen Fries, managing director of MHS Aviation. He went on to say "We have had an increased demand for long range flights over the last months so this aircraft works very well for us. We are very proud that MHS has been chosen as the operator because of our experience in operating Bombardier aircraft, the personalized, outstanding service we provide and our excellent standing in the aircraft charter market."

Earlier this year at EBACE MHS Aviation announced it's new portfolio of aircraft with the addition of 3 Dornier 328 aircraft. This means that, in addition to the Challenger 604, the MHS Aviation fleet consists of 3 Dornier 328 aircraft (which operate for British Airways as well as for ad-hoc charter) 2 ambulance equipped Learjets (a 31 and a 55) as well as 2 Lear jets 45XR and a Learjet 60. MHS Aviation also operates a number of helicopters, these are; 2 twin-engine IFR-approved Agusta 109 helicopters with vip cabin, a Eurocopter AS350 BE and 1 Bell Long Ranger. MHS Aviation received its CAMO+ certification in 2011.
