Aero-Dienst now also at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport; CJ3 expands fleet further with ultra-modern business aircraft

October 17, 2011:

Nuremberg-based Aero-Dienst has won a new aircraft management customer, with a Citation CJ3 business jet now operating out of Oberpfaffenhofen Airport (Germany). Thus, not only is Aero-Dienst increasing its fleet of aeroplanes to ten with a second CJ3, it is also adding a new location to its portfolio.

The CJ3 is a very popular business aircraft because of its flexibility and cost-effectiveness, an all- round winner in terms of cabin comfort, range and state-of-the art technology combined with low operating costs and, therefore, competitive charter prices. The aircraft is certified for steep approaches, which further increases its range of applications.

Oberpfaffenhofen Airport (OBI) is conveniently situated by the A96 motorway, so its catchment area includes Munich, Augsburg, Memmingen, Landsberg and the Bavarian lakes region. Business travellers on a tight schedule in particular will benefit from the fast and easy handling and clearance procedures at this airport. Customs clearance can also be facilitated if required.

"The fact that more and more customers entrust us with their aircraft is evidence of our comprehensive expertise in business flights," says a delighted Andreas Strabel, Key Account and Aircraft Management team leader at Aero-Dienst. "With services ranging from chartering, complete flight operation and maintenance all the way to sales, we are internationally recognised business aviation professionals with the highest standards of quality and safety."

Aero-Dienst can look back on 53 years of success as a company. As a commercial aviation enterprise with licence number 2, the company is Germany's oldest and most enduring provider of business aviation services. Only this year Aero-Dienst was awarded the Platinum Safety of Flight Award by the European Business Aviation Association for over 100,000 hours of safe flying. By incorporating new sites, Aero-Dienst is also strengthening its position beyond the bases in Nuremberg and Munich. The first step has been taken: more will soon follow.
