Ortac directors Lee McConnell, Philip Stott and Tobi Mathews with the recently delivered Citation CJ3+

Ortac approved for commercial charter and takes delivery of first Citations

Channel Islands-based manage-ment company Ortac has been awarded an AOC by Guernsey registry 2-Reg. Managing director Tobi Mathews says: "This is an extremely exciting business development for us at Ortac and it has huge benefits for our clients. Until now our established business has been dealing with the private management and operation of aircraft and providing charter brokerage services. Being awarded our AOC means that we can now operate aircraft under our management commercially, and help our clients to off-set their running costs by making their aircraft available for charter."

The company has also taken delivery of a Citation M2 and a CJ3+ which join its existing Citation Bravo.
