Zeusch Aviation takes off with King Air 200

Netherlands operator Zeusch Aviation has taken delivery of its third aircraft, a King Air 200, that will provide both medevac and passenger charter operations from its base at Lelystad airport. In medevac configuration the aircraft carries a Lifeport Plus-system that incorporates a single stretcher, as well as a vacuum system, compressed air, a three-outlet 1,000 watts inverter and a 3,500 litre oxygen system with remote filling port. Additional equipment can be added, with patient care administered by up to two clinicians, depending on the mission.

The aircraft, registered as G-MEDZ, will operate under the AOC of UK-headquartered private air ambulance company IAS Medical. Zeusch Aviation managing director Herman van Kranenburg says: “We recognise that we are a new player in the medevac market which is why we have chosen to work with our highly experienced IAS Medical colleagues. We are using the company’s extensive knowledge as a guideline to further develop our own reliable, responsive operational standards. We want to achieve the highest levels of quality as the safety and security of our passengers and crew are always at the top of our priority list.”
