GetJet launches mobile app for flight matching

Maltese members-only software platform GetJet has launched a mobile app for iOS users. Co-founder Alexander Koninsky says: “The app will be most beneficial for charter brokers as they mainly communicate and work from mobile devices, so with this in mind we took a big step in enhancing our product for the exclusive broker market.”

The platform allows brokers to post flights that are then matched with multiple flight requests allowing the overall cost to be shared between customers who each pay just for their own one-way part of the charter. GetJet sees itself as a tool that will allow new jet users in to the charter market, optimise aircraft usage for operators and bring financial benefits to both broker and end user. Since the beginning of the year it already experienced a 25 per cent growth rate in sold merged flights and is now partnered with more than 275 registered companies from Europe, Russia, Asia, the Middle East and America.
