JetSmarter offers pay-as-you-go flights and LA perks

US membership flight platform JetSmarter has launched a pay-as- you-go pricing model option without the commitment and annual fee of membership.

The company believes that as flight availability is directly tied to the number of people crowd-sourcing flights, pay-as-you-go access will increase flight options exponentially by enabling anyone using its app to initiate an entire flight, pay only for the seats they need and sell on the rest of the capacity. Crowdsourcing is achieved via an app feature that lets users share their created flight with members and non-members via text, email and social media.

Founder and CEO Sergey Petrossov says: "With more users to initiate custom flights the JetSmarter community will continue to grow, ultimately driving the creation of new routes and flight frequency. With our flight inventory determined by the flying community, members and non-members will benefit from the increase in flight creation."

Members enjoy private suite perks at LAX

The company is also offering its members complimentary access to The Private Suite terminal at Los Angeles International airport (LAX), which has onsite Transportation Security Administration representation as well as Customs and Immigration screening. The service is available to those travelling domestically and internationally, both in and out of LAX. All check-in formalities are performed at the terminal and luggage is hand delivered to the crew. Guests are driven to and collected from their aircraft.
