Returnjet sells 100th empty leg

UK-based online search and booking platform Returnjet has facilitated the purchase of an $21,500 empty leg flight from London to Croatia on a Challenger 850 for UK-based broker Superfly Aviation, bringing the total number of empty legs sold through the platform to 100.

Operators around the world stream around 2,000 live empty legs each day to the Returnjet platform via API direct from their scheduling software, and brokers can also use the company's empty leg corridor technology that matches any suitable empty legs to a search based on the length and direction of the flight and percentage deviation required.

Returnjet director Steve Westlake says: "We have worked very hard to deliver a powerful tool for the market and are now looking forward to developing it further and providing end-to-end distribution to the business jet industry."
