Shy Aviation takes green initiative
UK-headquartered Shy Aviation has launched a partnership with the World Land Trust, an international conservation charity that has been instrumental in the purchase and protection of more than 600,000 acres of tropical forest and threatened habitats. Together with overseas partners it ensures that more than four million acres of land worldwide is managed under active protection.
Chairman Giles Vickers-Jones says: "At Shy Aviation we recognise the impact of private jet emissions on the environment and our responsibility to offset this. For every flight, Shy Aviation will donate to the World Land Trust Carbon Balanced programme. Planting trees enables us to offset residual greenhouse gas emissions."
