Read this story in our FlipViewer digital magazine.

Canadian aviation company Skyservice Business Aviation has appointed current president Emlyn David as CEO. David will now serve as president and CEO, and replaces former CEO Marshall Myles, who has decided to retire.

Myles has been with Skyservice since November 2008, and transitioned to the role of chief executive officer in 2012. Throughout his tenure, he played an integral role in the continued growth and success of Skyservice as an industry leader in the business aviation world. He will continue to serve the executive team in a consulting capacity.

“Over the last 11 years, Marshall has provided outstanding leadership. His many contributions and knowledge of the industry are what makes Skyservice the industry leader it is today,” states David.

David has been a director of the company and has served in various capacities since 2008, assuming his current position as president in 2012. He has worked alongside Myles since 2008, honing his leadership skills in the aviation industry. Recently, he led the building of a second new Skyservice facility at Toronto Pearson International airport. Scheduled to open in the autumn of 2019, it will provide Skyservice with 90,000 sq ft of hangar space and a 20,000 sq ft terminal.

At each of its four FBO locations in Toronto, Calgary, Montreal, and Ottawa, Skyservice offers a full range of business aviation services including aircraft management, charter, FBO, aircraft maintenance and aircraft sales.
