Mexican airline enters the charter arena

Read this story in our FlipViewer digital magazine.

Mexican operator Aerolineas Ejecutivas is working alongside Mexico's national carrier Aeromexico to launch charter division Aeromexico Private Jets (APJ). The service aims to combine Aeromexico's global airline experience with the flexibility of Aerolineas Ejecutivas, which has been active in private aviation for two decades.

The launch of Aeromexico Private Jets marks the scheduled airline's debut into the private aviation sector. This is a move that is based around the growth of the business aviation sector and is designed to cater towards the need for flexible, customisable and convenient service.

Aimed at Aeromexico's corporate customers and frequent business flyers, APJ will work through a prepaid card exchanged for the equivalent flight hours on aircraft operated by Aerolineas Ejecutivas. Pre-paid cards will also be valid for all Aeromexico flights to more than 90 destinations and for upgrades to clase premier.
