Butterfield looks to spread Cutter's charter influence

Cutter Aviation has promoted Taylor Butterfield to the role of flight department manager for its charter and flight management department based in Phoenix, Arizona. Butterfield is enthusiastic about the opportunity to lead the team as they grow Cutter's charter flight operations and aircraft management services for the company's domestic and international client base.

Butterfield graduated from the University of North Dakota with Bachelor's degrees in commercial aviation and aviation management. After three years of teaching for the university, he accepted a position with General Atomics flying unmanned aircraft. He was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he flew reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition operations during two wartime operations.

He progressed his career in aerospace and defence roles as a project and programme manager supporting, managing, and leading logistics, fielding and training efforts for multiple civilian and US Department of Defense programmes.

Butterfield joined Cutter as a pilot in early 2016. Since then, he has flown as a team member for the operator's HondaJet and King Air clients. Cutter manages a fleet of six aircraft for charter, based in the states of Arizona and Texas.
