Voluxis barks up the right tree for UK pet approvals

Read this story in our FlipViewer digital magazine.

UK operator Voluxis has received Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) approval from the UK government to carry pets into London Stansted and Glasgow International airports.

Ground ops manager Keith Moody says: “With these new approvals, we now have the most extensive pet travel network in the UK. We can operate into 18 airports here with pets, more than any other European charter operator.

“We set out with the goal of gaining approval at all available UK airports that accept pets to be able to offer these routes should we receive a request from clients. We knew that offering private charter flights that make it possible for pets to sit alongside their owners in the cabin rather than in the cargo hold was a service our clients would value.

“We now have approval at all UK airports that allow pets to travel, so we really are the region's most pet-friendly operator.”

Voluxis is approved for pets at London Biggin Hill, Blackbushe, Blackpool, Bristol, Cambridge, Doncaster Sheffield, Edinburgh, Farnborough, Glasgow, Gloucestershire, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, Lydd, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Oxford, London Stansted and Manchester.

Holding a worldwide AOC holder for more than 40 years, the company has a fleet of Global and Hawker aircraft available for private flights. It also offers aircraft management, sales and marketing services with offices in London Biggin Hill airport, Farnborough airport and Dubai.
