Eclipse Air Charter opens New York office

Toronto-based Eclipse Air Charter is expanding its on demand, private aircraft charter brokerage service with a new office in the heart of midtown Manhattan, from where it will provide access to a range of charter options. Its pay-as-you-go service requires no long-term commitment, initial outlay, membership fee or management charges.

The company has access to aircraft worldwide and an ability to book local, transient and empty-leg aircraft charters on a flight-by-flight basis. Founder and managing director Yasmin Alam attributes the company's growth to emerging industries in Canada and the US, its ability to manage complex itineraries with multiple destinations in a single day, as well as an increased demand in private aircraft used for personal travel.

“The Canadian and US economies are intricately linked, so it is not surprising that our rising economies are translating into higher demand in flights between the top US business hubs and those in Canada," says Alam. "This has necessitated expanding our operations to increase the convenience for existing and new clients.”

The new office sits within the financial hub of Madison Avenue in Manhattan, mirroring the strategic location of the company headquarters on Bay Street in Toronto. The US team will work closely with the Canadian HQ and is currently recruiting for several NY-based roles.
