Tahiti Nui Helicopters launches Polynesian operations

Tahiti Nui Helicopters (TNH), a joint venture between scheduled carrier Air Tahiti Nui and French-Swiss helicopter group HBG with its subsidiary Mont Blanc Hélicoptères, is commencing operations with two H135s and two H125s based in Tahiti and in Bora Bora. The company plans to hire 12 staff during its first year, rising to 25 the following year.

Tahiti Nui Helicopters will resume provision of public service missions, tourist flights, VIP transfers and medical evacuations that have been lacking since the closure of the region's last private helicopter operator in 2017. It will be supported by HBG's expertise, AOC, Part 145 maintenance and its operating network ATN.
