Clay Lacy installs Gogo Avance in G450

California-headquartered Clay Lacy Aviation has installed the Gogo Avance L5 4G technology platform in a Gulfstream G450. As well as streaming 4G video and audio it enables real-time data for cockpit apps and provides remote monitoring and support. The company will install similar systems in its Falcon 2000EX and a second G450.

VP of maintenance and business development Ed Mirzakhanian explains: "Gogo Avance L5 allows our clients to take their entire digital lifestyle with them throughout the US and the coasts of Canada. Installation requires just six days of down-time if the aircraft is already provisioned, and 17 days if not. It is also future-ready, so clients can easily move up to NextGen network performance when that technology comes online."
