FAI remains on schedule to harmonise Learjet fleet by mid-2018
Germany-headquartered FAI rent-a-jet has bid farewell to its penultimate Learjet 55 aircraft, which will now continue life as an air ambulance jet in the USA. It has already been replaced by a Learjet 60 aircraft, recently acquired in Bulgaria. Earlier in 2017 FAI's last Learjet 35A aircraft was also replaced by a Learjet 60.
Chairman Siegfried Axtmann comments: “I am delighted to see that our fleet replacement and harmonisation project is on track. We anticipate outsourcing our last Learjet 55 by mid-2018, completing our transition to a more modern fleet comprised entirely of Learjet 60 aircraft.”
