ExecuJet kicks off celebrations for Mandela Day

ExecuJet kicks off celebrations for Mandela Day ExecuJet South Africa played host to a team of the country's premier sporting stars and welcomed children from local community schools to an event held on Mandela Day, 18 July, the international day of commemoration for politician Nelson Mandela.

Coaching the children through activities at ExecuJet's facility at Lanseria International airport were seven National Basketball Association players and NBA Africa MD Amadou Gallo Fall. They were accompanied by members of South Africa's rugby players' organisation MyPlayers, as well as Springbok and Lions prop Julian Redelinghuys and Lions centre Howard Mnisi.

The event embraces Mandela's belief that sport has the power to change to world, ExecuJet South Africa's aviation director and accountable manager Gavin Kiggen says: “We pride ourselves on being good corporate citizens wherever we're based around the globe. By hosting this event, we aim to inspire children to pursue their sporting goals and fulfil their potential.”
