Coleman Jet, Indiana, USA, has received FAA authorisation for worldwide Part 135 charter operations.

Delta Private Jets, Kentucky, USA, has partnered with Porsche to provide transfer services at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, John F Kennedy International and Los Angeles International airports for its card members.

Custom Jet Charters, Florida, USA, has achieved DCA Access Standard Security Program certification enabling it to fly to and from Ronald Reagan Washington National airport.

FAI Aviation Group, as part of Axtmann Aviation Holding, Germany, has received significant minority stake investment from Mumtalakat, the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Falcon Aviation, Dubai, is now managing a VIP heliport at Al Maktoum International airport with heli charters available to all operators, corporates and private individuals arriving with their business jets at its Dubai South terminal.

Gama Aviation has been ranked by ARGUS TRAQPak as top US Part 135 operator, based on all flight activity and data collected throughout 2016. The company performed 54,533 flight hours last year, and its acquisition of Landmark Aviation at the beginning of 2017 brings the fleet total to over 200.

Genesis Global Aviation, Nigeria, has received its AOC from the Nigerian CAA. Now enabled to begin full commercial helicopter services, the company will also operate passenger charters from Kaduna to Abuja.

GlobeAir, Austria, is to partner with London City airport, which saw over 3,800 business aircraft departures in 2016. GlobeAir CEO Bernhard Fragner says: “London is our second biggest market and by offering our clients the opportunity to use London City airport we expect to see further significant growth in our London-based business.”

Gulf Helicopters, Qatar, has established a Malta-based transport and medevac helicopter service under the name of Gulf Med Aviation Services in partnership with UAE-based Medilink International. The company received its AOC and Part 145 maintenance approval in February this year.

Jersey Jet Centre, Channel Islands, has launched Isle-Fly, an eight-seater multi-engined Cessna operation based at Jersey airport and the first new air taxi service on the island for over 30 years.

Azur Hélicoptère, based at Nice Côte d'Azur International and Cannes-Mandelieu airports in France, has partnered with Luxaviation Group to provide helicopter transfers to clients' end destinations in the region.

Sky Mark Executive, Dubai, has secured two G450s for exclusive charter on behalf of Lebanon-based Executive Aircraft Services and Smart Aviation in Egypt. CEO and founder Captain Farid Gharzeddine says: “Sky Mark Executive is delighted to add these two key aircraft to our charter fleet. The signing of these agreements allows the aircraft owners to maximise charter revenue.”

Deer Jet, China, continues to promote its 787 Dream Jet with a series of showcases across the globe. Its 'Dreams Encounter the World' tour has taken it from Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, Dublin, Doha and Seattle to Marrakech.

The aircraft is operated on the Guernsey registry under the AOC of Business Aircraft Services Guernsey by Deer Jet subsidiary HongKong Jet. Elit'Avia, Ljubljana, Slovenia, has been awarded an AOC from the Republic of San Marino CAA. VistaJet has abolished hourly ferry flight fees for all new Programme customers. It has also launched a WeChat sales platform for Chinese corporations, travel departments, and UHNWIs who represent 17 per cent of its worldwide customer base
