New Hampshire, USA-based online charter marketplace SimpleCharters has launched Runway, a widget that allows the instant online purchase of US charter flights. It is an advanced embeddable javascript application, available free of charge to US operators.

CEO Charles Denault III says: “Most 'get a quote' functions are nothing more than lead generators as the user has to complete long forms that ultimately result in a sales call from a representative who actually books the charter.

“We have complex systems running 24/7, getting position reports from every aircraft in the sky every few seconds,” he continues. “We have data feeds linking into our partner operators to determine where their aircraft will be, enabling our users to book flights in confidence. And our platform has now generated well over 1.4 million prices, all displayed to the user in seconds.”
