Aerocardal sees continued growth

Santiago, Chile-based Aerocardal reports continued yearly growth of 12 per cent for its medevac operations. CEO Ricardo Real says: “We were the first airline in Chile to offer air ambulance services, and have been operating this business line since 1997. We have performed a total of 4,500 successful flights and have worked alongside hospitals and insurance companies around the globe. Along the way we have obtained important certifications that separate us from the competition in Latin America.”

The company took delivery of the first Chilean registered PC-12 NG earlier this year. It says it is the only airline in Chile with the operational capacity to reach Easter Island with an air medical flight.
