Jet Aviation Flight Services appoints sales director for charter division

Jet Aviation Flight Services has appointed Victoria Reina Duffy as charter sales director. She will be responsible for devel-oping client relationships and charter sales opportunities related to Jet Aviation's Privileged Travel jet card, which provides flexible terms and attractive rates for block and ad hoc charters, as well as promoting other Jet Aviation products and services.

“Reina Duffy has a proven history of effective account and operational management,” says vice president and general manager Don Haloburdo. “Her work record is demonstrably customer-focused and we look forward to her joining the team.”

Jet Aviation acquires Avjet Corporation

Jet Aviation is to acquire Los Angeles-based Avjet Corporation. Avjet has a fleet of 45 aircraft and has recently been granted FAA approval for operating charter flights to Cuba.

Avjet's current chairman and CEO Marc Foulkrod will continue to own and operate the Avjet sales and brokerage division under the name Avjet Global Sales.

The closing of the acquisition is subject to certain governmental approvals, including relevant airport authorities. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.
