Trip planner from Charter Broker offers fast searches

The team at Charter Broker has developed a unique online tool for business air charter brokers all around the world. Trip Planner is a very simple, lightning-fast search. The broker simply enters the departure and arrival airports required and the system instantly displays the based aircraft which would be suitable for the trip. It summarises potential fleet availability from the departure airport and from other nearby airports for busy charter broker professionals to make
direct enquiries.

Charter operators and their fleets can be listed free-of-charge, and over a thousand are already included with around 4,000 individual aircraft. We are now working to expand this to our target of over 3,000 operators with 8,000 aircraft. We include business jets, turboprops and turbine helicopters.

“As a publication we are keen to make sure that our readers have valuable information at their fingertips,” says publisher David Wright. “We already gather extensive worldwide data about airport locations and runway lengths, about aircraft type capabilities in terms of capacity, field lengths and range, and about charter operators and their fleets. Now we have created a quick online calculator which factors all of this information into a simple set of results. There are no costs involved for operators or brokers, so we believe we can build the most comprehensive quick reference currently available.”

Charter operators who advertise in our magazine are automatically highlighted within the search results. Carry out a search for a trip from Stockholm to any European destination and you will see an example of the extra sales message that can be included with each aircraft.

Trip Planner will be enhanced and expanded in future to include details of the FBO facilities at selected airports, and its algorithms will be made even more accurate by taking into account the performance characteristics of individual aircraft.

We invite all of our broker readers to give Trip Planner a try, and to let us know if it is a useful tool and how we might improve it.
