A round-up of fleet additions
Aerocardal
At Pilatus' facility at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan airport in Broomfield, Colorado, Aerocardal has taken delivery of the first PC-12 NG to be flown under Chilean registry. “We had a great experience with the delivery of SN 1513 and a superb trip back home to Chile,” says Aerocardal director Alex Kauffmann. “The plane was immediately put to use in our operations, and has been extremely well received by our passengers, flight crews, and customers.”
Albinati Aeronautics
The addition of two factory-new Bombardier Global 6000s and a Bombardier Global Express brings Albinati Aeronautics charter fleet to four Global 6000s, a Global XRS, a Global Express, a Global 5000, a recently fully refurbished Challenger 604 and a Citation CJ4.
Aircraft Management Group (AMG)
Pittsburgh, Philadelphia-based AMG, which provides private aircraft charter through its AMG Jets division, has added a second, fully refurbished, Hawker 400XP to its air carrier certificate.
ExecuJet Aviation Group
ExecuJet Aviation Group has added one Gulfstream G550 which will be based between the Middle East and Europe. John Brutnell, group aircraft operations director, says: “The addition of this state-of-the-art aircraft follows a high level of interest in our managed and charter services in the region. We anticipate the G550 to be highly sought-after due to its ultra-long range and large cabin.”
FAI rent-a-jet
Germany based general aviation and air ambulance operator FAI rent-a-jet now has a Learjet 60, configured into air ambulance format, which will be based at the company's headquarters in Nuremberg. The aircraft is wholly owned by the company and replaces the last Learjet 35A in its portfolio. It will serve repat-riations, medical emergencies and evacuations worldwide.
Fortune Air
Fortune Air will be operating an upgraded Boeing 727 vip from Lanseria International airport in South Africa. It will serve a growing demand for flights for Heads of State and entourages.
G-Jet sro
G-Jet, formerly Grossmann Jet Service, is now operating a Gulfstream G550 out of Vaclav Havel airport in Prague, Czech Republic. It will primarily serve Central European and Russian-based clientele.
GlobeAir
Another Mustang joins European operator GlobeAir, the second such aircraft in just a few months. “We are operating the world's largest fleet of Citation Mustangs”, says ceo Bernhard Fragner. “We have closed a deal on another Citation Mustang with registration OE-FPP, dedicated to our hook line 'passion into profession', to celebrate the spirit that has been driving our team since the day we started building our business.”
Jet Edge
Los Angeles-based Jet Edge has added three Gulfstream aircraft: a G550, GV and GIVSP. The newly delivered G550 and GV are to be based in Florida and the GIVSP in Van Nuys, California.
Jota Aviation
London Southend airport operator Jota Aviation has introduced a low time, top of the range King Air C90 GTX which was previously operated by them for three years during 2011-2014. It is the company's fifth King Air and Jota has gained approval to widen its AOC coverage for its entire fleet, including a BAe 146-200 jet which is now available for charter, to include the Middle East, Africa, Iceland, Russia and the Azores.
K5-Aviation
Germany-based operator K5-Aviation has added an Airbus corporate jet to its fleet of four aircraft. It will be based in Munich with a European crew, and the company says it will serve the growing need for international flights on-board v-vip airliners.
Key Air
Connecticut-based Key Air has added a Dassault Falcon 7X to its Part 135 charter certificate. The Falcon 7X is the first business jet to use fighter jet technology with its Digital Flight Control System, yet is designed to provide an elegant, quiet executive cabin.
Landmark Aviation
Landmark Aviation has added a Falcon 2000 to its fleet which will be based at Denver, Colorado.
MHS Aviation
Munich-based MHS Aviation GmbH has taken delivery of a Gulfstream GV. It now operates 17 modern private jets, two of which are Gulfstream GV/G550s.
Priester Aviation
The addition of six new aircraft brings the fleet total to 48 for Illinois operator Priester Aviation, LLC. The new charter aircraft include a Learjet 45 and a Learjet 45XR based in Chicago; a Citation Excel based in Chattanooga and a Hawker 4000 based in Kansas City.
SaxonAir
UK operator SaxonAir has added a Gulstream G550 to its fleet, which has allowed it to gain a worldwide AOC. The heavy jet will be operated from the company's base at London Stansted airport.
At the same time, a partnership with London-based air concierge company The World Is Yours has meant SaxonAir has taken on another Hawker 750 midsize jet, based at London Luton airport.
Sovereign Business Jets
Sovereign Business Jets has a Hawker 800B which will be based at Sovereign's head office and operational centre at London Biggin Hill airport. The aircraft is not subject to owner's release and will be approved to carry pets into the UK through its base at London Biggin Hill.
Sun Air Jets
Sun Air Jets in California has expanded its domestic and international large cabin aircraft capabilities with the addition of a Gulfstream G-IV.
TAG Aviation
In Geneva, TAG Aviation's latest fleet addition, a Boeing 757-200, is now available for ad hoc charter on luxury around-the-world trips.
VistaJet
VistaJet has taken delivery of a Global 6000 which brings its in-service fleet size to 50 aircraft, comprised exclusively of Bombardier business jets.
Apex Air, a Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) authorised operator, will manage and operate a China-based fleet for VistaJet's flight solution programme from its base at Nantong Shanghai, allowing VistaJet to offer point-to-point service within China as soon as third quarter 2015 with its first Chinese registered Challenger 850.
