Merger forges European links for The Charter Company

London brokerage The Charter Company (TCC) has acquired Aviation Charter Ltd, a specialist broker based in Canterbury, UK. Trading will continue under the Aviation Charter Ltd name although the logo will change.

Director John Keeble, founder and chairman of TCC, believes that Aviation Charter's strong European links will benefit TCC clients from the Middle and Far East, who will profit from a close-knit network of suppliers in Europe.

Aviation Charter owner Volker Meissner, deputy chairman of BACA, joins the TCC board and becomes a significant shareholder. He says: “I strongly believe the merger is to the benefit of our customers. A stronger background will enable us to enhance our service and customer experience.”

Keeble adds: “We will strengthen our buying force and deliver advantages to our clients. Our combined data resources have already led to quicker, more comprehensive quotations.”
