ExecuJet joins Luxaviation

Luxembourg-based Luxaviation has acquired the entire share capital of ExecuJet Aviation Group AG of Switzerland. Luxaviation Group comprises Luxaviation (Luxembourg), Luxaviation Germany (Germany), Abelag (Belgium), Unijet (France), London Executive Aviation (UK), Masterjet (Portugal) and now ExecuJet (headquartered in Switzerland), which has worldwide operations in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia, Latin America and the Middle East. Luxaviation Group is also active in Asia-Pacific through a commercial office in Singapore, and with the acquisition now operates a combined fleet of more than 250 business aircraft.

ExecuJet will be lead by Gerrit Basson, newly appointed ceo and former president and coo. Luxaviation Group ceo Patrick Hansen has been appointed chairman of ExecuJet, while founding ceo and chairman of ExecuJet Niall Olver is standing down but will continue in an advisory capacity.

Olver says: “This market consolidation will bring a range of benefits to ExecuJet and its clients, including the sharing of local knowledge and expertise with sister companies in the Luxaviation Group.”

Hansen adds: “ExecuJet's operations give us a strong presence in some of the world's fastest growing business aviation markets, as well as a significantly larger managed fleet.”
