Steve Bennetts will be marketing the Fireblade fleet in Johannesburg

Fireblade Aviation appoints Vertis to handle charter enquiries

South African operator Fireblade Aviation has appointed Vertis Aviation to market its existing charter fleet. The company's Global 6000 will serve regular non-stop business aviation routes such as Johannesburg to London or Sao Paulo. The 15 passenger jet has one of the tallest, widest and longest cabins in its class and offers a full state-of-the-art entertainment system with satellite telephone, internet and multi-region dvd. Its eight seat Learjet will appeal to business clients visiting South Africa's mining areas in the south, and its AW139 to clients flying to the country's numerous game parks.

All communications will go through Steve Bennetts at Vertis Aviation, which has opened an office at the Fireblade Aviation FBO in Johannesburg.

Commenting on the new location, Jeffrey Emmenis, a partner at Vertis Aviation, says: “The decision to open an office in South Africa was driven by growing demand for business aviation on the continent and is in line with our overall plan to grow the company internationally. We anticipate that our unique boutique approach, which provides tailored aviation services matching the specific needs of our clients, will be well-received here. We look forward to serving our African clients as we continue to grow our international footprint. The latest office gives us a presence on three continents and allows us to connect the world from top to bottom.”
