Delta Private Jets wins travel magazine accolade

Delta Private Jets (DPJ) continues to expand its fleet of managed aircraft with five new additions. The fleet is boosted by two newly refurbished midsize Citation Excels, a Hawker 800XP and two Citation CJ2 light jets. The aircraft join DPJ's floating fleet and are well-appointed, with the latest amenities including wi-fi.

DPJ's fleet has grown by more than 40 per cent in the last year, and is on track for 60 aircraft on its certificate imminently. The company has also seen record growth this year in its Jet Card programme and its customer base, which numbers over 2,200.

In December, the company was named best private jet service by Premier Traveler magazine. The award was a result of its Best of 2014 survey and was presented at an annual awards gala dinner in Beverley Hills.

The award was accepted by Cyril Turner, president of DPJ, who said: “On behalf of all of us at Delta Private Jets, it is my honour to accept the award. This comes at a special time as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, and truly speaks to the focus of our growth and success – our customers. We approach every trip as an opportunity to exceed our customers' expectations and this award is reflective of the exceptional service we have been providing.”
