Centennial Jets XLS becomes Elliott's 100th G5000 retrofit

October 16, 2026

Elliott Aviation has completed its 100th Garmin G5000 retrofit, fitting the integrated flight deck to a Citation XLS operated by Atlanta broker Centennial Jets at an installation cost of around $500,000.

It takes a village – Elliott employees gather to celebrate the milestone.

Centennial Jets has tasked Elliott Aviation, a US provider of business aviation aftermarket support, to carry out a Garmin G5000 flight deck retrofit on a Centennial Citation XLS. It is the 100th such installation that Elliott has performed.

“When evaluating avionics upgrade options for our Citation XLS, we wanted a partner with extensive experience and a proven track record,” reveals Rohan Bhatia, CEO of Atlanta, Georgia-headquartered Centennial Jets. “Being Elliott Aviation's 100th Garmin G5000 installation speaks volumes about its expertise and leadership in this space. The quality of the installation, professionalism of the team and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We are excited about the enhanced capabilities the G5000 brings to our operation.”

“Earning the trust of 100 aircraft owners and operators for Garmin G5000 retrofits is an incredible milestone and a reflects the expertise, dedication and craftsmanship of our avionics teams,” adds Bill Forbes, senior vice president of sales and avionics programmes for Elliott. “We were proud to be the first organisation to complete a Garmin G5000 installation in a Citation Excel, and reaching our 100th installation demonstrates the confidence the industry continues to place in Elliott Aviation. This accomplishment is the result of years of investment in our people, processes and capabilities, as well as a strong partnership with Garmin.”

Elliott Aviation has established itself as the industry leader in Garmin retrofits through its specialised installation infrastructure, including four dedicated Garmin flight deck installation teams focused exclusively on delivering avionics modernisation projects. In addition to completing more Garmin G5000 retrofits than any other dealer, Elliott has installed more Garmin G1000 and G1000 NXi integrated flight decks in King Air aircraft than any other dealer worldwide, accounting for nearly half of all installations globally.

For Centennial Jets, the 100th installation represented an opportunity to enhance operational capability while equipping its Citation XLS with the latest avionics technology available in the aftermarket.

The Garmin G5000 integrated flight deck provides operators with advanced situational awareness, enhanced safety features, improved navigation capabilities, wireless connectivity and a modern cockpit environment designed to support today's demanding flight operations.

Elliott Aviation's Garmin G5000 programme also covers the Beechjet 400A and Hawker 400XP. The company completed its first Garmin G5000 retrofit in 2015 on a Hawker 400XP, the first such installation on a jet aircraft anywhere in the world.
