ACS Manchester office is given a facelift

Air Charter Service opened up in the north-west of the UK in 2024 to further expand its client base in the thriving technology, sports and music markets in the region, and it has already outgrown the old space.

The new space will offer more room to sell.

Air Charter Service has expanded its operations in the north of the UK to capitalise on the growth of its business from its Manchester office.

Alex Sadat Shafai, CEO of ACS Manchester, says of the move: “We opened up in the north-west in 2024 to further expand our client base in the thriving technology, sports and music markets in the region, and in those two years we have already outgrown our old space. These new premises give us almost double the floorspace of the old operation, meaning we can push on from our impressive first couple of years.

“Manchester itself is a renowned technology and creative hub and is one of the fastest-growing cities in the North of England, with a strong economy. The city is also an extremely busy sporting region with football and cricket grounds, as well as the Grand National at Aintree, all nearby. There are six current Premier League football teams within a 40-mile radius of the city, as well as many other large lower league teams. We are already a leader in aircraft charters for the sporting industry; we have arranged more than 2,000 contracts in the past five years, and the office has helped to increase our business even further in the UK since it opened.

“The team and I are excited to be moving into the new office and looking forward to expanding further. We offer helicopter, private jet and commercial airliners, continuing to support our customers in the region as well as flights visiting the Manchester area.”

Air Charter Service is a global aircraft charter broker with 43 offices worldwide, spanning all six major continents and offering private jet, commercial airliner and cargo aircraft charters, as well as onboard courier solutions. It arranges over 35,000 flights annually with revenue of more than one billion dollars for the past six years. It was formed in 1990 by Chris and Tina Leach in the basement of their house and now employs more than 800 staff worldwide.
