Mira Vista Aviation has renewed its designation as a Wyvern Wingman PRO certified operator, reinforcing the company's longstanding commitment to safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement. Through its continued participation in the Wyvern Flight Leader Program, Mira Vista Aviation benefits from structured quarterly coaching and ongoing monitoring designed to strengthen its safety culture, enhance organisational performance and maintain the rigorous standards associated with Wingman PRO certification.

Mira Vista Aviation is a Californian Part 135 operator, providing charter and aircraft management with a fleet of Bombardier Global and Gulfstream types.

The Wyvern Wingman standard, the aviation industry's first standard developed specifically to audit air charter operations, serves as a trusted safety benchmark. It enables charter customers to evaluate operator performance against recognised industry best practices, with an emphasis on risk management, operational discipline and a strong organisational safety culture.

“Safety is not a milestone we reach. It is a standard we are responsible for upholding every day,” says Mirielle Sims, managing partner and EVP, flight operations for Mira Vista. “I expect that commitment to be visible in every decision we make, every department we lead and every flight we operate. In aviation, discipline, accountability and continuous improvement are non-negotiable. Our Wingman PRO renewal reflects not only the strength of our safety programmes, but the culture we have built, one where excellence is understood as a responsibility to our aircraft owners, our passengers and one another.”

Wingman PRO represents one of the aviation industry's highest standards for safety excellence. Certification is awarded only to operators that demonstrate exceptional performance across all elements of their SMS, effectively manage human factors and organisational safety culture and consistently comply with international standards through robust internal audit processes.

The renewal of Wingman PRO certification by Mira Vista Aviation reflects the company's proactive approach to managing safety across its charter operations. Through ongoing evaluation of operational procedures, training, risk management practices and organisational performance, Mira Vista Aviation continues to identify opportunities for improvement while reinforcing the disciplined standards that support safe and reliable operations.

“The renewal of Mira Vista Aviation's Wyvern Wingman PRO certification highlights the organisation's continued focus on safety leadership and operational excellence,” concludes Andrew Day, chief operating officer of Wyvern. “Through proactive risk management and continued engagement in the Wyvern Flight Leader Program, Mira Vista Aviation demonstrates a willingness to continually evaluate its performance, strengthen its processes and pursue meaningful improvement.”
