The enhanced jet service will connect the New York City area with south Florida in partnership with Aero from November 2026 to May 2027.
Blade Urban Air Mobility will bring back its BladeOne jet service between New York and south Florida in partnership with Los Angeles-based private jet airline Aero. The seasonal service is expected to run from 19 November 2026 until 2 May 2027, with flights between Westchester County airport and Palm Beach’s President Donald J. Trump International airport or Miami-Opa Locka Executive airport.
Blade introduced its ‘Enhanced Aviation’ service between New York and Miami in 2015. Since then, demand for private travel between New York and south Florida has grown, with the route becoming one of the busiest private jet corridors in the world.
Blade founder and CEO Rob Wiesenthal says: “BladeOne sits squarely in the white space between a $1,000 first class seat and a $25,000 private jet charter. Given the significant migration of New Yorkers to south Florida, as well as the increase in business travel between the two geographies, there has never been a better time to reintroduce our service.”
BladeOne flights will be operated by USAC Airways 695, an Aero subsidiary, using Aero’s custom-designed commercial jet retrofitted with 16 single seats, each positioned between the windows and the aisle. The aircraft will have Starlink high-speed wi-fi, amenity kits, dining and bar service provided by Blade’s partners and in-cabin service from SKYfx.
The service will use private terminals rather than commercial terminals. In New York, passengers will be able to depart from Blade Lounge West on Manhattan’s West Side by helicopter and land jetside at Westchester County airport in approximately 10 minutes, or begin their journey at Blade’s private terminal lounge there. In Miami, flights will use the Blade–Aero Lounge, while Palm Beach services will operate from a private terminal.
Aero CEO Ben Klein says: “Aero exists for travellers who want the privacy and ease of a private jet without chartering the whole aircraft. We’re excited to be combining forces with Blade to bring the same experience and precision we’re known for on the West Coast to the East Coast. After working together with Blade this summer on our Los Angeles to East Hampton service, BladeOne is the obvious next step, and the New York to Florida corridor is the right addition to our current network of routes out of New York.”
