Official Air Travel Partner status at the 11-day festival comes with sponsorship of its World Cinema Narrative section and the Flyte Breakthrough Awards for emerging talent.
Flyte has taken on the role of Official Air Travel Partner for the 34th Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF), which runs across New York’s East End from 2 to 12 October.
The US short-haul private air travel provider is a lead sponsor of the festival and also backs World Cinema Narrative, the festival’s largest narrative section, whose international slate includes Coward, Minotaur and Tender Loving Care.
Flyte will also sponsor the 2026 Breakthrough Honours. Anthony Ippolito receives a Flyte Breakthrough Performer Award for I Play Rocky, the opening night film, in which he plays Sylvester Stallone. Rosalind Eleazar receives the same award for her role in Misty Green, written and directed by Chris Rock. Jordan Firstman takes the Flyte Breakthrough Director Award for Club Kid, the A24 release he wrote, directed and stars in. Past Breakthrough recipients include Emma Stone, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o and Timothée Chalamet.
Marc Sellouk, founder of Flyte, says: “We are especially proud to lend the Flyte name to the Breakthrough Awards and recognize Anthony, Rosalind and Jordan alongside a program with an extraordinary history of talent.”
The Hamptons have become an important market for Flyte, which operates a standardised fleet of Cirrus Vision Jets through its FAA-certified Part 135 subsidiary, Ponderosa Air, and handles bookings through its own digital platform. Many of the smaller airports it serves between the New York metro area and the East End have no scheduled commercial air service, with lighter surrounding traffic and simpler parking than larger airports.
