Renewal of the certified operator status confirms continued participation in the Wyvern Flight Leader Program, including quarterly coaching sessions to reinforce safety practices.
Luxaviation UK has had its Wyvern Wingman certified operator status renewed, confirming continued participation in the Wyvern Flight Leader Program and the quarterly coaching sessions that support the scheme.
The Wingman standard assesses an operator's compliance management system, internal evaluation programme, safety management system, human factors management, safety culture and risk management policies, procedures and practices, along with emergency response plans and training programmes. Participating operators also receive Wyvern's integrated SMS software, covering ASAP reporting, FOQA integration, CASS tracking, FRAT and FRMS tools.
George Galanopoulos, CEO of Luxaviation UK, says: “Renewing this certification is a proud achievement for Luxaviation UK. It is a confirmation of our team's continued engagement with the Flight Leader Program and a mark of safety for the company.”
Andrew Day, chief operating officer of Wyvern, adds: “This renewal of its Wyvern Wingman certification speaks to the organisation's ongoing commitment to rigorous safety standards and operational excellence, reassuring aircraft owners and charter clients that safety is prioritised on every mission.”
As part of the Wingman commitment, operators share safety management system and emergency response plan information directly with Wyvern, opening their programmes to independent review. Wingman members, including Luxaviation UK, are also eligible for a complimentary annual safety culture analysis, an SMS evaluation and Wyvern's Safety Leader Training Course.
