Praetor 600 and Gulfstream G500 extend Albinati options

August 19, 2026

The G500 marks the return of Gulfstream to Albinati Aeronautics’ managed fleet, building on the company’s previous experience with a Gulfstream G-IVSP and G550, while the Praetor is a unique proposition.

Albinati Aeronautics has added a new Embraer Praetor 600 and a Gulfstream G500 to its managed fleet, further diversifying the range of aircraft types supported by the company.

The Praetor 600 is the first Embraer aircraft to be managed by the Swiss business jet operator, introducing a new manufacturer to the fleet and expanding its charter offering in the super-midsize segment. With a range of up to 4,018nm, the aircraft is suited to numerous European routes and selected intercontinental missions, while offering a spacious cabin and operational versatility.

The G500 marks the return of Gulfstream to Albinati Aeronautics’ managed fleet, building on the company’s previous experience with a Gulfstream G-IVSP and G550. The large-cabin G500 further expands the company’s long-range capabilities.

Introducing a new aircraft type requires the establishment of dedicated operational, technical and regulatory processes before operations can begin. For the Praetor 600 and G500, this included aircraft-specific procedures and documentation, crew training and qualification, continuing airworthiness processes and arrangements for maintenance, ground handling and AOG support.

Albinati has now completed this work for both aircraft and obtained the necessary approvals. Their integration required close coordination between the company’s flight operations, CAMO, ground operations, safety, compliance monitoring and training teams, together with manufacturers, maintenance providers and aviation authorities. The process reflects the rigour of the teams involved and the company’s ability to combine 25 years of operational experience with the efficiency of a human-scale organisation.

The expertise, procedures and support networks established for both types also provide a solid foundation for future additions. Owners of Praetor 600 and Gulfstream G500 aircraft can now rely on a management organisation already familiar with their operational, technical and regulatory requirements, supporting a more direct and structured entry into service.

“Welcoming two distinct aircraft types within the same period illustrates the breadth of expertise Albinati Aeronautics has developed over the past 25 years. For owners considering placing a similar aircraft under management, it provides further confidence in the company’s ability to understand their requirements and support their aircraft with proven expertise from the outset,” shares Stefano Albinati, founder and CEO of Albinati Aeronautics.

For charter clients, the Praetor 600 provides an additional option within the fleet, allowing aircraft selection to be aligned more closely with each mission’s range, passenger capacity and operating profile.

Albinati Aeronautics currently manages more than 20 aircraft across multiple business aviation segments and manufacturers. Further aircraft are scheduled to join the fleet during the second half of 2026.
