Moorehead takes on strategy at Avpro

August 3, 2026

Samantha Moorehead’s promotion to vice president of strategy sees her taking responsibility for strategic planning and growth initiatives after almost a decade with the firm.

“It has been an honour to be part of such an exceptional team. I look forward to building upon our strong foundation and identifying new opportunities,” says Moorehead.

Avpro has promoted Samantha Moorehead to its vice president of strategy. Moorehead has spent almost a decade at the US aircraft brokerage, acquisition and advisory firm, where she has played a central role in shaping its transaction closing processes. She has built a reputation among clients, OEMs, attorneys and escrow agents for running professional, organised and high-touch deal closings.

In her new position, Moorehead will lead Avpro's strategic planning efforts and take charge of high-priority initiatives spanning growth, innovation and market expansion.

Bob Rabbitt, managing partner of Avpro, says: “Her deep expertise and strategic vision have been invaluable to our success. We are confident she will drive significant value as we continue to strengthen our position in the global aviation market.”

The promotion formalises a strategy-focused position within Avpro's leadership structure, reflecting the growing weight placed on planning and market expansion within the firm's operations.
