TAM Aviacao Executiva impresses IBAC officials

July 20, 2026

This achievement reinforces TAM AE’s positioning as a company focused on operational excellence, efficiency and convenience, integrating international standards into its various business segments.

TAM Aviacao Executiva has reached the highest level of international maturity in flight operations and ground handling, solidifying an integrated safety culture across all areas of the Brazilian full-service business aviation company.

TAM AE has simultaneously achieved IS-BAH and IS-BAO Stage 3 certifications, awarded by the International Business Aviation Council, the leading international body dedicated to best practices in global business aviation.

These certifications recognise companies that possess established processes, an integrated organisational culture and continuous improvement tools consistently applied throughout their operations.

With this achievement, TAM Aviacao Executiva joins an elite group of operators and service providers certified at the highest international level. Regarding IS-BAH Stage 3, the company becomes the first in Brazil to reach this certification level and the only company in Latin America to hold Stage 3 status for both IS-BAH and IS-BAO certifications.

The audits evaluated various operational pillars, including safety management, reporting culture, team training, leadership, ground and flight operations, change management and proactive risk prevention capabilities.

Unlike earlier stages, Stage 3 recognises organisations where safety is embedded throughout the business, influencing operational, technical and strategic decisions. For IS-BAH, the assessment covers ground handling, including aircraft movements, hangar operations, operational support and emergency response. In contrast, IS-BAO focuses on flight operations, planning, maintenance and continuous risk management.

“More than just a certification, this recognition represents the consolidation of a culture built daily across all areas of the company. For us, operational safety is not merely a matter of protocol; it is a commitment to the continuity, trust and predictability that our clients expect in every operation,” states Leonardo Fiuza, president of TAM Aviacao Executiva.

This achievement reinforces TAM AE’s positioning as a company focused on operational excellence, efficiency and convenience, integrating international standards into its various business segments.

With nationwide operations and a comprehensive infrastructure for aircraft sales, flight services, training and maintenance, TAM Aviacao Executiva continues to increase its investments in processes, people and infrastructure, strengthening an operation equipped to meet the highest global business aviation standards.
