Gogo Galileo internet reaches Falcon 7X and 8X

June 15, 2026

FAA and EASA STCs have opened the way for Galileo installations on both aircraft, expanding inflight connectivity choices.

The HDX antenna delivers inflight connectivity speeds of up to 60 Mbps.

Gogo's Galileo high-performance connectivity system can now be installed on the Dassault Falcon 7X and 8X after Dassault Falcon Jet MRO secured FAA and EASA supplemental type certificates for the Gogo Galileo HDX antenna.

The approvals expand the availability of Gogo's low earth orbit connectivity offering to two of the most widely operated ultra-long-range business jets, giving operators another option for global inflight internet services.

“Connectivity has become a core element of the Falcon customer experience, particularly on long-range missions flown by the Falcon 7X and 8X,” says Frederic Cadiou, sales support director, Dassault MRO. “The approval of Gogo Galileo on these aircraft provides our operators with a high-performance, reliable additional solution that meets rising expectations for global coverage and speed, while aligning well with the Falcon platform's efficiency and design philosophy.”

Powered by the Eutelsat OneWeb LEO network, the Gogo Galileo system provides worldwide coverage through its HDX electronically steered antenna. The lightweight antenna is designed for light- to large-cabin aircraft and offers speeds of up to 60 Mbps.

“These STCs are very exciting, as the Dassault Falcon 7X and its successor, the Falcon 8X, are among the most popular ultra-long-range business jets thanks to their combination of performance, comfort and advanced technology. Their customers – corporations, charter companies and high-profile owners – expect reliable, high performance and private connectivity during their flights, and that's what they'll get with the Gogo Galileo system,” says Michael Skou Christensen, chief commercial officer, Gogo.

The system also provides access to cybersecurity protections, training services and round-the-clock customer support.
