Growing demand for time-critical medical missions has created a dedicated charter solution combining flight operations with specialist logistics support.
George J. Priester Aviation (GJP) has expanded into the healthcare aviation sector through a partnership with MediOps, becoming the preferred charter partner for the newly launched MediOps Aviation service.
The healthcare-focused offering has been developed to support radiopharmaceutical distribution, organ transplant logistics and other time-sensitive medical transport requirements. Under the arrangement, MediOps provides healthcare logistics coordination, software and ground transport capabilities while GJP supplies aircraft, flight operations and safety oversight.
The collaboration brings together MediOps’ proprietary mission management platform with GJP’s fleet resources and operational infrastructure to create an integrated medical transport service. The companies say the model removes the need for healthcare providers to coordinate multiple suppliers by offering a single point of accountability from aircraft dispatch through to final ground delivery.
“The demand for specialised healthcare aviation is growing, and we see an enormous opportunity to bring our scale and safety record to this critical space. MediOps Aviation positions both companies to lead where it matters most,” says Brent Moldowan.
“George J. Priester Aviation shares our commitment to safety, precision and operational excellence. Together, we're delivering a healthcare charter solution that reflects the standards our clients and their patients deserve,” adds Rylan Stone, president of MediOps.
GJP brings more than 200 years of combined aviation experience to the venture and operates through a portfolio that includes Priester Aviation, Mayo Aviation, Hill Private Aviation, Omni Private Aviation, Maxair and Elite Jets. The company holds ARGUS Platinum, Wyvern and Air Charter Safety Foundation certifications.
At the centre of the offering is MediOps’ coordination software, which provides real-time mission visibility, automated logistics orchestration and integration between air and ground operations. Combined with GJP’s fleet scale and safety credentials, the platform is designed to support healthcare missions where speed, reliability and regulatory compliance are critical.
