The premium facility at Istanbul Airport combines spa suites, private lounges and fast-track processing, as Jetex expands its global terminal network.
Jetex and İGA Istanbul Airport have opened a luxury passenger terminal in Istanbul designed to serve both private jet travellers and commercial airline passengers. The Jetex İGA Terminal was inaugurated during a ceremony attended by Turkey’s transport minister H.E. Abdulkadir Uraloğlu alongside executives from Jetex and İGA.
Located at İGA Istanbul Airport, the facility combines private aviation services with hotel-style amenities including spa treatments, private suites, lounges and dedicated passport and security checkpoints.
Jetex says the terminal has been designed to create a more personalised airport experience for travellers before and after flights, with chauffeur-driven transfers also available for guests travelling through the airport.
The building’s design draws on Istanbul’s nazende çiçeği, or slender flower, using natural stone, wood and bespoke surfaces throughout the interior.
Adel Mardini, founder and chief executive of Jetex, says the company had focused on creating a “state-of-the-art experience” for travellers arriving in one of the world’s busiest international hubs.
