Tecnam brings ForeFlight planning tools into twin-engine cockpit package

May 10, 2026

The agreement gives P2012 and P2006T pilots integrated charting and navigation support from the moment their aircraft is delivered.

The move reflects a shared focus on pilot experience and connected cockpit technology.

Tecnam is adding integrated flight-planning and navigation capability to new deliveries of its Tecnam P2012 Traveller and Tecnam P2006T aircraft through a partnership with Jeppesen and ForeFlight.

The package includes a one-year subscription to Jeppesen navigation data and regional charting, alongside access to ForeFlight Premium for use on personal devices and compatible cockpit systems.

Tecnam has also introduced a Jeppesen Premium Plan designed to integrate Jeppesen data directly with Garmin G1000 avionics installed in the aircraft.

The companies said the move would give pilots a more streamlined planning and navigation workflow from delivery onwards, combining cockpit data, digital charts and flight-planning tools within a single package.

Scott Reagan, Jeppesen ForeFlight’s director of strategic alliances, says: “This programme reinforces our commitment to delivering best-in-class data and tools directly at the point of aircraft production. By partnering with Tecnam, we ensure Jeppesen data and charts are seamlessly integrated into every aircraft from day one.”

Walter Da Costa, Tecnam’s chief sales officer, adds: “At Tecnam, we are continuously focused on enhancing the pilot experience. This partnership with Jeppesen ForeFlight ensures that every Tecnam pilot is equipped with the most advanced navigation tools from the very beginning. It's another step forward in our mission to deliver safety, innovation and value in every aircraft we produce.”
