The fleet deal strengthened multi-engine training capacity and reinforces a standardised cockpit approach across the academy’s growing network.
Greybird Aviation Group has signed a fleet expansion agreement at AERO Friedrichshafen, adding three Tecnam P2006T NG twin-engine aircraft as part of a 13 aircraft order supporting its European growth.
The Danish academy’s training model centres on a “uniform fleet” approach, with consistent Garmin glass cockpit layouts used from initial flight training through to multi-engine qualification. This structure reduces transition time between aircraft types and supports safer, more efficient progression.
The Tecnam P2006T NG plays a central role in that pathway. As a cost-efficient twin-engine platform, it enables cadets to move into multi-engine flying without relearning cockpit logic. Instead, training can focus directly on handling twin-engine aerodynamics and advanced operational procedures.
The aircraft is positioned as the final step in a streamlined training pipeline, aligning with airline expectations for standardised, technology-led training environments.
