Latitude 33 Aviation has taken on a managed Gulfstream G450 and has added it to its charter certificate. The operator says the aircraft is a proven platform with strong market appeal. “The G450 gives us long-range capability, a premium passenger experience and the reliability owners and charter clients expect from a Gulfstream,” states director of charter Jesse Cunningham. “It is a great fit for the type of missions we see across Southern California, including coast-to-coast flying and international travel.

“The G450 is especially well suited for ad hoc charter because it offers true large-cabin comfort with the flexibility clients need for last-minute trips. It seats up to 14 passengers, sleeps up to 6, and features a three-zone cabin, inflight-accessible baggage, Starlink wi-fi and a full galley. It is a strong option for longer business trips, family travel and mixed business-leisure itineraries.”

The G450 offers a true stand-up, three-zone cabin that gives passengers room to work, relax and travel comfortably on longer flights. It also delivers excellent range for nonstop coast-to-coast missions and many international routes, while Starlink wi-fi helps passengers stay connected in flight. The combination of cabin space, performance and onboard technology makes it a very practical aircraft for premium charter.

Cunningham goes on: “The G450 expands our large-cabin and long-range capability in a meaningful way. It complements our existing fleet by giving clients another high-end option for longer missions while strengthening our ability to serve a wider range of trip profiles from Southern California and beyond.

“With the addition of the Gulfstream G450, we are elevating what we can offer to our clients in Southern California and around the world. This aircraft delivers exceptional capability, extended range and a premium cabin experience, while aligning perfectly with our commitment to safety, professionalism and personalised service.”

The G450 will primarily support nonstop coast-to-coast trips and international missions. It is ideal for clients who need range, cabin comfort and scheduling flexibility for longer travel days, including business travel, family travel and multi-leg itineraries.

Cunningham continues: “As we enter our 20th year in operation, our focus is on building on that milestone with the same commitment that got us here: dependable service, strong safety standards and long-term value for our clients and owners.

“For aircraft owners, 20 years in business reflects stability, operational experience and a management partner that understands how to protect and maximise aircraft value over time. For charter clients, it means confidence in a team that has been delivering consistent service from Carlsbad for nearly two decades. For the industry, especially here at McClellan-Palomar, it reinforces Latitude 33 Aviation’s role as a long-standing operator helping elevate business aviation in North County San Diego and Southern California.”

Looking ahead, the company wants to continue growing high-quality charter demand across key West Coast markets, expand awareness of the Carlsbad headquarters as a strategic gateway, and keep raising the bar on service, safety and accessibility across charter, aircraft management and aircraft sales.

“This year has been strong for us, and in many ways better than expected,” concludes Cunningham. “Demand has remained healthy for premium on-demand charter across the West Coast, and we continue to see opportunities to grow with both owners and charter clients.

“A major milestone for us is the depth of our Challenger fleet. We now offer five Bombardier Challengers on the West Coast across our charter fleet, including three Challenger 350s, one Challenger 300 and one Challenger 605. That gives clients more availability, more scheduling flexibility and the right cabin options for everything from regional trips to coast-to-coast travel. It also reflects the trust owners place in Latitude 33 Aviation to manage and position high-value aircraft in an active charter market.

Alongside charter growth, Latitude 33 Aviation is also seeing increased activity in aircraft sales. The company closed the sale of a Citation CJ3 at the end of March 2026 and currently has three aircraft listed for sale, the highest number of active listings it has had at one time in the past five years. While that may not be a headline in itself, it reflects a healthy level of movement on both the buy and sell side and has contributed to a very active start to the second quarter of 2026.
