Maintenance and avionics teams at Fargo Jet Center received industry recognition for education, certification and standards alignment over the last year.
The maintenance and avionics teams at North Dakota’s Fargo Jet Center received multiple awards in 2025, recognising their commitment to ongoing education and alignment with industry-standard credentialling.
Based at Hector International airport, the maintenance team was honoured with the Aviation Training Excellence Award from the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) and an Employer Recognition Award from the National Air Transportation Association (NATA). Both awards recognise aviation maintenance organisations that demonstrate a sustained commitment to training and education. The team also received the FAA’s AMT Employer Diamond Award of Excellence, which is presented to organisations where 100 per cent of eligible employees complete an AMT Certificate of Training within a calendar year.
In the avionics department, avionics leads Drew Stiles, Jon Stevens and Will Dillamon, alongside avionics technicians Dave Mohn, Hayden Larson and Karson Ferden, passed the Aircraft Electronics Association’s Certified Aircraft Electronics Technician (CAET) exam, earning CAET certification. Introduced earlier in 2025, the certification confirms that technicians are trained in current industry standards and best practices. Facilities with CAET-certified technicians demonstrate enhanced quality in maintenance and repair work and a commitment to aviation safety and operational efficiency.
