Top night unfolds as the ACA rewards industry favourites

This year, the winners at the Air Charter Excellence Awards were determined from a fantastic shortlist of companies by a 100 per cent member voting process, following feedback from the ACA membership.

500 leading air charter professionals were in attendance at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole in the UK.
Platoon Aviation picked up Executive Passenger Charter Operator of the Year.

Trade body the Air Charter Association (ACA) recently hosted its Air Charter Excellence Awards, with 500 leading air charter professionals in attendance at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole in the UK.

The Air Charter Excellence Awards bring members and industry professionals together to celebrate the achievements of the past year. The evening began with a pre-dinner networking reception, followed by a three-course gala dinner and the Excellence Awards ceremony, featuring 10 awards, presented by their respective sponsors.

The ACA also welcomed its 15 interns from the ACA Internship 2025 programme to recognise their achievements, with a special internship project prize awarded.

This year, the winners were determined from a fantastic shortlist of companies by a 100 per cent member voting process, following feedback from the ACA membership.”

In keeping with the ACA’s sustainability commitment, the CO₂e footprint of the event will be fully offset via the ACA’s sustainability partner 4Air.

The award winners are: Executive Passenger Charter Operator of the Year: Platoon Aviation; Commercial Passenger Charter Operator of the Year: Air Charters Europe; Helicopter Charter Operator of the Year: Capital Air Services; Cargo Charter Operator of the Year: Qatar Airways Cargo; Aircraft Manufacturer of the Year: Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation; Charter Operators’ Broker of the Year: Air Charter Service; Flight Ops Service Provider of the Year: Farnborough airport; Business Service Supplier of the Year: Avinode; the ACA NextGen Young Person of the Year 2025: Tim Cunningham, Weston Aviation; Internship 2025 Project Winner: Oliver Dawson.

The event was sponsored by Jetex, Dassault Aviation, Volare Aviation, 8020 Communications, Luminair, AirOne, Air Charter Scotland, Avico, London Biggin Hill airport, London Southend Jet Centre, Luxaviation Group, TAG Aviation and Titan Airways.
