Gogo appoints Falcon Technic for UAE installation and support

November 24, 2025

Gogo has selected Falcon Technic to deliver its inflight wi-fi systems, while the MRO has also secured Design Organisation Approval in the UAE.

Gogo and Falcon Technic formalised the agreement during Dubai Airshow 2025 to strengthen local access and service support.

Gogo has appointed Falcon Technic as an authorised dealer for its Plane Simple and Galileo inflight connectivity systems. The agreement was signed during Dubai Airshow 2025.

The appointment enables Falcon Technic to install and maintain Gogo’s multi-band, multi-orbit satellite broadband terminals, bringing high-speed connectivity to aircraft flying anywhere. Falcon will also provide full lifecycle support and upgrades.

In May 2025, Falcon Technic committed to installing Gogo Galileo HDX antennas on its Falcon Luxe charter fleet, starting with Bombardier Global 5000 and Global Express aircraft.

Dave Falberg, SVP sales EMEA and APAC at Gogo, says: “The Middle East region is particularly buoyant right now and we're pleased to have appointed a local distributor to support our continued growth. We've purpose-built our systems for the business and government aviation sector and know that our relationship with Falcon will bring high-speed broadband access to more operators in the region.”

Separately, Falcon Technic has become the first UAE organisation to receive Design Organisation Approval (DOA) directly from the General Civil Aviation Authority, under approval number UAE.21J.003. This approval authorises the company to design and approve minor modifications for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft without reliance on foreign or EASA-based approvals.

The approval covers interior changes such as placards, carpets and seat dress covers as well as exterior livery and paint modifications.

Sultan Rashit Abdulla Rashit Al Shene, chairman of Alex Group Investment, says: “This approval is a proud moment for our group and for the UAE. It reflects the trust placed in our national capabilities and the dedication of our Falcon Technic team.”

Falcon is also pursuing Production Organisation Approval and EASA certification to extend its global reach.
