Blade builds on convention's shuttle service

October 11, 2025

The company is partnering with the NBAA to provide scheduled flights, by the seat, between Henderson Executive Airport and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Delegates will be transported by conventional helicopter, while Joby’s static display will offer a glimpse of its next-generation, emission-free aircraft.

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has renewed its partnership with Blade Urban Air Mobility, now a division of Joby Aviation, to provide scheduled by-the-seat flights during the 2025 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, running from 14–16 October.

Building on previous years of sold-out success, Blade will connect the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) with the NBAA-BACE Aircraft Connection at Henderson Executive Airport (HND), offering seven-passenger flights that allow attendees to experience the benefits of urban air mobility.

“We are pleased to once again partner with Blade to provide fast and convenient flights at NBAA-BACE,” says NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen. “Blade pioneered the urban, by-the-seat vertical transportation model, which will be an essential component of the future of advanced air mobility.”

Blade CEO Rob Wiesenthal says: “Our service between the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Airport highlights the value of vertical transportation by providing attendees with a fast, reliable alternative to ground congestion. NBAA attendees will not only enjoy Blade’s urban air mobility services today using conventional rotorcraft but will also see the quiet and emission-free future with Joby’s static display of its next-generation aircraft.”

Joby representatives will be available at the Blade check-in area to discuss future plans for introducing electric air taxis into Blade’s network. Tickets start at $195 for NBAA members and $245 for non-members.
