The partnership was agreed to deliver out-of-hours and weekend coverage that extends operational oversight and strengthens service reliability for customers worldwide.

Avem Aero will provide out-of-hours and weekend OCC support for Zimex’s global fleet.

Zimex Aviation has formed a partnership with Estonian outsourced operations control centre (OCC) provider Avem Aero to secure out-of-hours and weekend OCC support.

The cooperation enhances Zimex Aviation’s service reliability and ensures uninterrupted operational oversight for its global operations.

Nikolay Kurbanov, CEO at Avem Aero, says: “When I first visited Zimex Aviation's office, I was impressed by how structurally organised and precise its operations were. It immediately resonated with me because we share the same approach at Avem Aero. I believe that partners with the same values can bring greater benefits to the market and customers, and this alignment is the foundation for long-term cooperation.”

Zimex Aviation operates more than 20 ATR and Twin Otter turboprop aircraft under EASA standards. Its fleet supports global energy companies, humanitarian organisations, governments, UN agencies and cargo operators.

Daniele Cereghetti, CEO at Zimex Aviation, says: “Aviation never stops, and neither do we. Reliability is at the core of what we do. Avem Aero gets that and fits right into our way of working. With its OCC support and our own team's standards, we can keep our customers covered 24/7 around the globe. That's how we've earned trust since 1969 and how we'll keep meeting their needs in the future.”
